PEPE JACOBO (1995), guitar (acoustic and electric), percussion (drum set and Latin). Pepe Jacobo received his Diploma in Music from the University of Costa Rica. He has studied with Stewart Mars, taken private classes with Antoni Saroni, Pete Magadini and many others. Pepe creates and performs original music on guitar and percussion. His teaching emphasizes the mathematics of time signatures, music therapy, scales, chords, open tones and fun.

Apprenticed with jazz drummers Greg Bandy, Adetobi Greg Jackson, Michael Carvin, Joe Morello, Dennis Mackrel, and Winard Harper. Also studied music theory, history and performance. Studied classical snare drum with Michael Rosen; presently studies with master percussionists Zack Washington at the Malonga Center and Fernando Sanjines of Samba Do Coraçao.
